About us

We work with highly academic, ambitious students applying to the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge, as well as those applying for Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Science.

These students are often referred to as forming part of an ‘Early Applicant Group’ (EAG) as they make their applications through UCAS by the early 15 October deadline.

We believe that all applicants should be supported to submit the very best application possible for them.

Following a private consultation and assessment with our Director, we pair applicants with a subject-specific mentor who works with them to guide and develop their application.

Working with us

The first step is to arrange a free 20-minute consultation with our Director and Oxbridge Specialist, Samantha. During the meeting she will be able to offer advice and suggest a programme of support tailored to your needs.

We will match you with an academic mentor in the degree subject of your choice. The majority of our mentors attend the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge and are passionate about sharing their experiences and insight with prospective applicants. Many of our academic mentors are former clients who return to Varsity Scholars to mentor others.

We can arrange weekly, fortnightly or occasional academic mentoring sessions to meet the needs of each applicant. All academic mentoring sessions take place online, at a mutually convenient time.
